The Seller is responsible for the cost of the utilities up to and on the day of closing.
The Buyer is responsible for setting up new accounts to commence the day after closing.
There may be a refund for prepaid items/extra charge for unpaid periods - these will be dealt with by your lawyer in the closing cost "adjustments.
